Board Certified Professional Thai Therapists
Membership ($229 annually)
As our highest level of membership, Board Certified Thai Therapists
Members enjoy an enhanced listing on ITTA and ABMP's MassageFinder
referral service, That's two listings for the price of one! Also
a CD of photos and marketing materials for their own business
uses (available June 1, 2005), priority processing, a unique
wall certificate, use of the ITTA Board Certified Thai Therapist
designation, and broad insurance coverage of $2 million per incident.
Certified Members also receive through our Association with ABMP,
ABMP's publications, including a subscription to Massage
& Bodywork magazine, ABMP's Successful Business
Handbook, and the Touch Resource Guide. A certificate
of insurance, ethics certificate, insurance guide, and membership
identification are included as well.
Eligibility Requirements
If you practice in a state that regulates Thai Massage, Thai
Yoga and/ or bodywork:
* Valid current massage/bodywork license from that state
If you practice in a state that does not regulate Thai Massage,
Thai Yoga and/ or bodywork:
* 500 hours of Thai Massage education from an approved program
OR
* Passing score on National Thai Massage Yoga and Bodywork Certification
Board (NTYMBCB) OR
* Minimum of 121 hours of massage training and a current medical,
nursing or physical therapy license
Maintenance Requirement: 16 hours of continuing education every
two years
