On September 20th, 1999, the Indian Board of Alternative Medicines, Calcutta, India has requested and agreed to a formal co-operative affiliation with ITTA, Inc. The Board has issued a formal document of affiliations signed by Dr. S. K. Agarwal, President of the Indian Board of Alternative Medicine and Dr. Anthony B James, President of ITTA. This document is on file for review at ITTA's office in Chicago.
As Traditional Thai Medical Massage is fundamentally an Ayurvedic/ Indian tradition, we are seeking to gain and exchange resources and information with original, authentic, educational and philanthropic organizations for development of ITTA's curriculum for the future. As Indian Medicine is unerversally agreed as the origin and "Father" of Traditional Thai Medicine authetic sources in this area are important.
The purpose of this affiliation is to actively exchange concepts, knowledge and information in the furtherence of Alternative Medicine. ITTA will be providing information to IBAM on Traditional Thai Medical Massage and Naturepathy.
This affiliation is a major recognition of the work ITTA's members are doing and support for the inspired healing tradition handed down to us by our teachers in the tradition of Shivago.
