Regulatory Interaction: ITTA, Inc. is a Private Membership Association and as such offers the ability to share and exchange Thai Yoga and related anywhere in the US with NO special or restrictive licensing. ITTA in association
with other major national associations works actively with state
and municipal regulatory and legislative committees to ensure
that if massage, bodywork, and somatic therapies regulations are
passed, they are fair to all qualified practitioners. (See
recent list of accreditations and recognitions). (To qualify for legal exemptions on Thai Yoga and related practices, members must agree to abide by all membership Code of Ethics and Association Articles.)
ITTA Members eligible for National Certification!
The NTYEBCB (National Thai Yoga, Energy and Bodywork Certification
Board) provide "Competency Based" National
Board Certification. Many states require National Board Certification
for obtaining massage licensing, Board examinations are held in
east and west coast locations once a year at this time. Click
here for details. Additionally, ITTA is NCBTMB Approved Provider for Massage and Massage Therapy Continuing Education.
Professional Identification: ITTA members
for a small fee ($5.00, plus $4.95 shipping) may receive a recognized
